How this is verified
- XRPL:
gateway_balancesis called against the issuer account withledger_index: validated. Theobligations.RLUSDfield is the issuer's total outstanding balance across every trustline — the actual circulating amount, not a sum of individually-tracked accounts. - Ethereum:
eth_callinvokes the token contract's owntotalSupply()anddecimals()functions directly — the same values any wallet or block explorer reads. - Each chain tries several independent public RPC endpoints in sequence, so one node being down doesn't stall the page.
- The total is the sum of both, at the ledger index / block height shown in the stamp above — click "re-verify" any time to re-query.
- Aave V3:
getReserveData(RLUSD)is read from the Aave Pool contract (resolved live via the on-chain PoolAddressesProvider), plustotalSupply()on the aToken and variable-debt token and the bit-packed reserve configuration for caps. Aave-only — not total RLUSD DeFi usage.
